Our New Birmingham Branch

Our Birmingham Branch Chair, Karina Connolly, discusses the recent creation of our Birmingham Branch and the Branch’s plans for the future.

The construction and property market in Birmingham is thriving right now, offering a wide range of events. However, there is a need for a dedicated space where like-minded professionals can connect, expand, and strengthen their networks. With this goal in mind, I established the Birmingham branch of Interact.

Although Birmingham Interact is still in its early stages, we successfully hosted three events in 2024.

The feedback from all our events has been wonderful, and I’m delighted that people see it as something they want to be a part of. We’ve already had an incredible number of membership requests, with 23 current members and over 50 people on the waiting list.

One of our events focused on helping the next generation of talent develop networking skills, and it was very well received. As a result, we plan to bring this theme back in 2025. My vision for this club is to offer a variety in what we do and help everyone build meaningful connections.

Our upcoming event will be networking brunch in November and we already have dates for our events in 2025. I’ll be posting further information about these on our branch LinkedIn Page.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity to drive Birmingham Interact forward and to use my own networking platform to help others.
