Networking Luncheon with guest speaker Ade Adepitan MBE

Hosting the latest Interact Luncheon last week [10th October] National President, Simon Parker, led a very productive afternoon of networking for construction and property professionals.

Interact members from across the UK, and their guests, gathered at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall which provided a magnificent backdrop to the afternoon’s activities. Along with a drinks reception, networking and a three-course meal, guests were treated to a fascinating talk by guest speaker Ade Adepitan MBE. With European, World and Paralympic basketball medals under his belt, starring in the documentary ‘Hoop Dreams’ and now a regular TV presenter across TV and media, Ade shared his story and chatted about overcoming challenges and shared the successes which has shaped his career to date.

Simon commented “A captivating talk from Ade had the room in complete silence and listening intently throughout! We were thrilled he could join us at the Luncheon and share his life story of defying the odds to become a hugely successfully athlete and, more latterly, a media personality we now regularly see on our TV screens. Thank you to all our members and guests for attending and we look forward to announcing our next event taking place at the House of Commons in February 2020.”

Simon continues his National President role until 2020, following which, he will pass the reins to incoming President Andrew Harper Rowe of MLM Group, part of Sweco.
