Derby raise £14000 for Charity at their 2023 Christmas Lunch!

The Interact Derby branch held their annual Christmas lunch event on 7th December 2023 at a packed out Pride Park Stadium, the home of Derby County Football Club. It was another incredibly successful event, raising a record £14,000 for charity! The amount raised will be split between two charities:

The Hope Centre

A charity in Derby who provide support to people in crisis including young people, the elderly, low-income families, children, single parents, refugees and asylum seekers living in poverty. These services currently include a Food Bank, Hope Store, Lunch Club for over 50’s.

The Christie Charity

A cancer charity that provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds which includes drug research and trials.

It was great to also have numerous members from other branches in attendance. Congratulations to Karen Hargrave and rest of the Derby team on a fantastic event!
