Celebrating our ‘Rising Stars’

After the success of last year’s inaugural Interact ‘Rising Star’ Award, we’re pleased to continue the tradition in 2019.

Earlier this year we launched a call for 2019 ‘Rising Star’ applicants via member nominations. Recognising the emerging professional talent coming through the ranks within the construction and property industry, written submissions of up to 500 words were sought from candidates aged 35 or under.

National President, Simon Parker, commented, “I believe in celebrating the emerging talent of the next generation and, by launching these awards last year, we have been able to build on the momentum and continue this as an annual activity.”

The judging selection is based on candidates outstanding contribution to their profession through expertise, innovation and consideration of others. Last year saw Craig Martin from Novus Property Solutions crowned ‘winner’ taking home the coveted trophy along with £1,000 prize fund, followed by James Norman from Robert Norman Construction in second place and Beth Paxton from Apex Acoustics in third.

Simon continues “We hope to inspire these individuals, and many more moving forward, and have confidence that this endorsement will encourage them to become future leaders, in turn, inspiring others throughout their professional careers”.

Nominations for this year are now closed and we are excited to announce the winners at the National Lunch, being held at the Royal Automotive Club, on 10th October.
