Partner
Mark is an owner of BB&J Commercial/Boxall Brown & Jones. He has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor, and he has worked around Derby and the East Midlands for almost all of that time. As an RICS Registered Valuer and Accredited Expert Witness, Mark carries out a broad array of property valuations for a variety of private and public sector clients, including many commercial banks, pension funds, Local Authorities and Charities as well as for Court purposes. As well as being a partner at BB &J Commercial he is also a Director owner at the Burton upon Trent based specialist commercial property firm Rushton Hickman Ltd.
Since 2020 Mark has been a Trustee at the Derby based Charity Safe and Sound and since 2022 has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees. The charity provides essential support to victims and young people affected by sexual and criminal exploitation In Derby and Derbyshire. He is also part of the team helping to steer the Friends of Derby 500 Club, who have adopted a national fund-raising concept and brought it to Derby to help those in need. The Club is made up of 500 members who pay just one pound a week so that £500 a week can be given to a worthy cause or individual in urgent and immediate need.
