Tickets now available for the House of Commons Luncheon

06/02/2020 - 06/02/2020

Our first event of 2020 has now been announced.

Join us at the Interact House of Commons Luncheon on Thursday 6th February for the opportunity to network with fellow members, and guests, during a drinks reception and three-course lunch in this remarkable venue.

Hosting the event will be the Rt. Hon. Alec Shelbrooke MP. As guest speaker for the afternoon, Alec will share his parliamentary insight; from being first elected as the Member of Parliament for Elmet & Rothwell in May 2010 and subsequently continuing to secure a Conservative majority in his constituency in West Yorkshire. Prior to joining parliament, Alec studied Mechanical Engineering before going on to work as a Project Manager with the University of Leeds.

For a number of years, he has been working to deliver a ‘Dementia Directory’; a guide to access quality dementia services within communities, and he aims to make his the UK’s first dementia-friendly constituency. In September 2019, The Queen approved that Alec be sworn of Her Majesty’s most Honourable Privy Council, a formal body of advisers to The Queen.
